It sometimes seems a bit overdramatic when you hear a teenager say, "I've been waiting for this since I was a kid;" and most times that it true.
However, for Fernando Benitez, reaching his dream was not about winning a game or an award; it was about receiving a Leader Dog, something he had waited for since he was 12.
Even at his young age, Fernando knows what it means to be devoted to something. As an up-and-coming concert pianist and composer he has dedicated many of his 18 years to perfecting his art.
Now, he will be able to share dedication and devotion with Finn. "Now, it is just my music and Finn," Fernando says. "He will make it possible to do all I've dreamed of. We are inseparable."
