Future Leader Dog and Trekker Students Join GM at the Woodward Dream Cruise
August 18, 2008 - General, a Future Leader Dog, and his friends helped to celebrate General Motors' 100th Anniversary at the Woodward Dream Cruise on Saturday, August 16th. GM is generously sponsoring General.
Students from Leader Dog's Trekker Camp also attended the event and spent time talking with GM CEO, Rick Wagoner. The students were asked to feel the contour of the vintage vehicles and to vote for their favorite.
Because Leader Dog's sole economic engine is donations, we depend on the generosity of others to be able to provide free classes to people in our community and around the world. We are thankful for General Motors' dedication to enhancing mobility and independence.
