Host a Fundraising Event
Hosting a fundraising event can be a lot of fun and is a great way to introduce new people to Leader Dogs for the Blind.
If you don't know what type of event you want to host, check out our fundraising ideas list or just think about what you do for fun and build your event around that activity. From evening cocktail parties to summer softball games to bowling, the possibilities for raising funds for Leader Dog are endless!
We have created a fundraising toolkit complete with printable display sheets and client success stories to help you create a display board. Also included are a fact sheet and a sample press release. You may order promotional materials such as brochures, bookmarks and pencils at no cost.
NOTE: The toolkit is contained in a zip file and may take a few moments to download.
Register Your Event
Please let us know what you are planning by registering your event. We may be able to help spread the word about your fundraiser via Facebook and Twitter. During registration, you have the option of requesting a puppy raiser and Future Leader Dog attend your event.
