Hosting a fundraising event can be a lot of fun and is a great way to introduce new people to Leader Dogs for the Blind.
If you don't know what type of event you want to host, check out our fundraising ideas list or just think about what you do for fun and build your event around that activity. From evening cocktail parties to summer softball games to bowling, the possibilities for raising funds for Leader Dog are endless!
Come join us for a packed day of Leader Dog fun at the 2017 Northwoods Puppy Camp in Wisconsin. This camp will be very similar to what is offered at Leader Dog on a puppy raiser weekend. Deb Donnelly, along with other instructors, will help answer questions about your puppy raising experience as well as show you tips and tricks to help you feel more successful with your puppy. Puppies will be divided into age groups to improve their learning experience. Attendance is by pre-registration only through Puppy Development at Leader Dogs for the Blind
Two assessors will be available for you and your puppy to perform your required IFT assessment prior to your puppy's return (puppies 10 months or older) or to "practice" IFT assessment skills (all age puppies welcome).
Raisers taking the IFT assessment, show up promptly at 6:00pm
Raisers Practicing IFT sills show up at 7:00pm
