When I went home with my first dog I remember getting off the airplane and walking toward my dad with a feeling of confidence, of freedom and independence.
Zoe has fit in great in all aspects of my life. It’s funny how she’s kind of slid in and made a niche for herself in the hearts and lives of my friends and family.
After a very productive working life and retirement, Lena, my first Leader Dog, passed away on March 21, 2009.
Jake and I are doing great. He is becoming my best friend. I’d like to thank Leader Dog once again because if it weren’t for all of you, I would not have the freedom I have today.
