Leader Dogs for the Blind strongly believes that Trekker Breeze technology is an effective tool in enhancing the lives of travelers who are blind. As an agency or school, we want to offer you the opportunity to be part of this GPS revolution.
- Training for O&M and dog guide instructors. We are currently in the process of developing train-the-trainer courses for O&M and dog guide instructors interested in acquiring a solid base of knowledge about the Breeze. After completion of this course, your instructors will be able to provide Breeze training and follow up to your clients. There will be a cost associated with train-the-trainer courses due to the amount of time, effort and money we have invested into developing the training.
- Workshops at AER Conferences. Leader Dog and Humanware, manufacturers of the Breeze, have partnered to offer training method workshops at AER Conferences.
- Information for your website. Our suggested website content provides your clients with key information about our discounted Breeze program.
It is not our intent to draw clients away from other agencies or dog guide schools. Instead, we view this as a partnership between organizations dedicated to enhancing the lives of people who are blind.
