Celebrate a Special Occasion, Person or Pet
Celebrate special moments and people in your life by making an honorary gift. You can select from sending an eCard to the person, printing out a card for hand delivery or mailing, or having us send a card for you. If you have questions regarding giving a gift in honor of your special person or pet please contact us at 248-651-9011.
Remember a special person or pet by making a memorial gift. We will send a card to the person or family to notify them of your generosity. Double or even triple your gift with a matching gift. Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees. Securities, IRAs, 401Ks, and Similar Retirement Plans
Gifts of appreciated securities such as stocks, mutual funds, and bonds can provide attractive benefits. An outright gift of long-term appreciated securities (securities held for more than a year) avoids capital gains taxes and in most cases, the donor obtains a charitable income tax deduction equal to the market value of the securities.
To make a gift of securities, IRAs, 401Ks or other retirement plans to Leader Dog, please contact our planned giving department at 888-777-5332.
