Youth Giving

Youth Giving for Leader Dogs for the Blind (formerly Kids N’ Coins) is a popular outreach opportunity for schools and youth programs that teaches young children about Leader Dogs for the Blind and how we accomplish our mission to enhance the lives of people who are blind or visually impaired. Youth Giving programs also provide the opportunity to teach young children the importance of giving back at an early age. Programs that educators/youth group leaders/troop leaders have included our Youth Giving program in include:

  • Working animals
  • The human eye
  • Disability awareness
  • Everyday heroes
  • Community involvement and volunteerism
