Large Print Cookbook Available in Gift Shop
After years of being asked by our students, “Can I get the recipe for …?” our kitchen staff has put together a cookbook of their most requested recipes. This large print cookbook is great for a person with low vision or someone who has trouble reading small print.
Containing a wide variety of recipes (breakfast, appetizers, main dishes and desserts) that have been tested by literally thousands of Leader Dog students, any cook would love getting this cookbook as a gift. We even included some dog treat recipes!
The cookbooks are $10 each and can be purchased in our gift shop or by calling 248-650-7110 ext. 1169.
Homemade Frozen Treat for Dogs
32 oz. plain yogurt
2 T. peanut butter
1 mashed ripe banana
2 T. honey
Blend all ingredients together. Pour into either 3 oz. paper cups or ice cube trays. Freeze.
