On-Campus Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Leader Dogs for the Blind.

Leader Dog is pleased to engage over 280 dedicated and compassionate volunteers assigned to one (or more) of 50 different on-campus volunteer jobs. These on-campus volunteer jobs are in high demand, so not all are open at any one time. Most of our opportunities are of a recurring nature, which involves a weekly shift of three to four hours, either during the week or on weekends. If you are interested in volunteering on our campus, please note:

  • On-campus volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check is a requirement. Additional background checks may be required dependant upon the volunteer position for which you are applying.
  • We ask for at least a six month to a year commitment from those who volunteer and only accept applications for open positions.
