Current Volunteer Openings
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Leader Dogs for the Blind.
Leader Dog is pleased to have the support of over 350 dedicated and compassionate volunteers assigned to more than 70 on-campus positions. Most of our opportunities are recurring and involve a weekly shift of three to four hours. We do not experience a high turnover of volunteers, so only a few positions are available at any time.
If you are interested in volunteering on campus, please note:
- On-campus volunteers must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check is required. Additional background checks may be needed dependent upon the volunteer position.
- A commitment of at least six months to a year is required.
- Applications are only accepted online for open positions.
