39 Wendy’s Hold March Fundraiser for Leader Dog

Leader Dogs for the Blind is partnering with Wendy’s franchisees Lisa and Howard O’Brien to raise funds in support of Leader Dog’s programs for people who are blind or visually impaired.

Simply donate $1 to Leader Dogs for the Blind and you will receive a $1 off coupon for a full-sized combo meal or salad on your next visit. This fundraising initiative will run throughout March at 39 Wendy’s locations.

“We are currently raising our third Future Leader Dog. As volunteer puppy raisers, we have experienced first-hand the positive impact that a guide dog has on the life of a person who is visually impaired,” said Lisa O’Brien. “This is why we chose Leader Dogs for the Blind as the local charity for these 39 Wendy’s locations.”

“We are fortunate to have great supporters like the O’Briens,” said Susan Daniels, Leader Dogs for the Blind president and CEO. “They not only help by raising puppies and needed funds, they help us raise awareness in the community about the services we provide.”

Throughout March, Leader Dog puppies and puppy raisers will randomly visit the 39 Wendy’s locations in support of the fundraiser.
