Light Up Leader Dog
Join us this holiday season as we once again Light Up Leader Dog! For a $10 donation, a luminary will be placed in your honor on the campus of Leader Dogs for the Blind. Our goal is to light up the campus with over 2,000 luminaries honoring our supporters and lighting up the beautiful campus of Leader Dogs for the Blind.
This December, please join us on campus to enjoy the display! Guests will have the opportunity to browse through the marketplace, partake in some warm, winter beverages and tasty food, enjoy the sounds of a holiday choir, walk the paths of luminaries, and view the Leader Dog campus all lit up!
Frozen Paw 5K
In conjunction with the Rochester Downtown Development Authority's Snowglow festival, Leader Dogs for the Blind is proud to present the 2nd Annual Frozen Paw 5K! Participants will enjoy a course filled with wintry scenery through downtown Rochester, Rochester Municipal Park and Paint Creek Trail.
The 5K run/walk includes a race shirt, race medal, and a coupon for a free, age-appropriate beverage from Rochester Mills Beer Company.
After the race, the Rochester Fire Department is hosting a pancake breakfast ($8/person) to benefit Leader Dogs for the Blind!
Dinner in the Dark
Dinner in the Dark is Leader Dogs for the Blind’s signature fundraising event and an experience like no other! We are looking forward to you joining us on Friday, March 8, 2023 at the MGM Grand Detroit for our in-person event!
Join us for a delicious dinner under blindfold and amazing program featuring some of our clients. Have your picture taken with a Canine Ambassador on our “black carpet” entrance, try your luck at the Blind Wine Pull for $25, peruse our pop-up Leader Dog gift shop, enjoy a Night Flight Wine Tasting and try our Walk the Walk experience, an immersive orientation & mobility space where guests can walk with a white cane and participate in daily activity skills.
