Your Gift to Leader Dog Makes People Unstoppable

People from all over the world come to Leader Dog to learn the necessary skills for safe and independent travel with a guide dog or white cane. And while all of our services are free of charge, we receive zero state or federal funding, so your gift truly helps make people unstoppable!

MATCH DEADLINE EXTENDED!

Two generous donors giving from their donor advised fund and IRA have now joined the Matching Gift Challenge provided by our friends at Chief Financial Credit Union giving us a grand total of $99,000 in matching funds!

That means that our match has been extended and that now through May 31, every donation to Leader Dog will be matched dollar for dollar.

Juanita came to Leader Dogs for the Blind as a teenager for Teen Summer Camp and later took part in our Orientation and Mobility (O&M) program. When Juanita decided she wanted a guide dog, she chose Leader Dog because of her experience as a youth here.

Juanita says, “It’s just phenomenal. It definitely is exciting, emotional and nerve racking when you meet your new dog, but Resi B is the perfect match for me, she’s resilient and ready to work.”

Today, so many others like Juanita are waiting to receive their very own Resi B, waiting to tell their own stories of the deep bonds and incredible impact that happens when we make a perfect match between a person who is blind and their Leader Dog.

Please take advantage of the $99,000 Matching Gift Challenge provided by Chief Financial Credit Union and our donors to continue creating more perfect matches in the future.

Leader Dog accepts gifts from your Donor-Advised-Fund, Stock, and IRA. Find out more about non-cash giving at https://www.freewill.com/smartgiving/leaderdog.
