For more than 20 years, Purina has supported Leader Dogs for the Blind by donating over 56,000 pounds of Pro Plan dog food each year. These contributions provide high-quality nutrition essential for maintaining health, strength, and ideal body condition of dogs as they train to become guide dogs. In addition to in-kind support, Purina’s financial donations have helped enhance training programs and fund critical facility upgrades at the Leader Dog campus. Chief Financial Credit Union (CFCU) is the first official credit union partner of Leader Dogs, having joined as a community supporter since they moved into the Rochester Hills area in 2015. Through their branded credit card program, CFCU lets everyday purchases turn into donations. With each transaction, CFCU matches rewards points with donations—creating sustained monthly support for Leader Dogs’ free guide dog placements, client services, and organizational growth. -

Coastal Pet Products has been a partner of Leader Dogs since 2008 through its Good Works Program, aligning with the company’s values by supporting causes close to pet lovers’ hearts—like those served by Leader Dogs for the Blind. Coastal Pet employees participate in their own version of Leader Dogs’ annual “Bark & Brew 5K”, hosted in Alliance, Ohio. This event complements the official Rochester, Michigan race and helps raise funds and awareness through employee runners and community involvement. -

Tevra Brands®, known for its affordable flea and tick prevention products, is the official flea and tick preventive partner of Leader Dogs for the Blind. They supply vet‑quality TevraPet® products to all puppies in Leader Dogs’ breeding, raising, and training programs—ensuring dogs stay healthy, parasite‑free, and better able to focus on their training task. In addition, their own employees have volunteered as puppy raising families, notably nurturing “Nellie”—a Future Leader Dog housed with the company family for her first 10–12 months ensuring the puppy adopts solid behavior and social skills foundational for service dog training. -

Midwest Eye Consultants
Midwest Eye Consultants, a network of optometry practices across Indiana, has been a proud corporate supporter of Leader Dogs for the Blind since 2017. Their donations have helped fund essential programs like Guide Dog Training, O&M training, GPS assistive technology, and summer camps—all services provided free to clients by Leader Dogs. In addition, staff members like Dr. Lindsay Culver volunteer as puppy raisers, helping prepare future working dogs and exemplifying a hands-on approach that extends beyond financial support.
