Dinner in the Dark presented by AAA - The Auto Club Group, hosted at the Royal Park Hotel in Downtown Rochester, is Leader Dogs for the Blind's signature fundraising event and offers an unforgettable experience! Guests will enjoy a remarkable dinner under blindfold, raising funds to transform the lives of individuals who are blind.

As you mingle with fellow attendees, snap a photo with a canine ambassador on our “black carpet” entrance, and test your luck at the Blind Wine Pull for $25. Be sure to explore our pop-up Leader Dog gift shop and participate in the Walk the Walk experience, an immersive orientation and mobility space where you can navigate with a white cane and engage in everyday activity skills. For VIP ticket holders, Blindfold Walks with a Leader Dog in training or a canine ambassador will be an exclusive treat.

The VIP Experience will begin at 6 p.m., general admission doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the dinner programs will begin at 7:30 p.m. Times are subject to change.

Hotel Room Block

We’ve reserved a block of rooms for event attendees at the Royal Park Hotel. To book your stay, please visit the Royal Park's Leader Dogs for the Blind event booking page. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage you to reserve your room early to secure your stay.
