Light Up Leader Dog is back with some new, festive ways to celebrate! Light up Leader Dog is a community event, this year taking place at Leader Dogs for the Blind’s Downtown Rochester facility.
In collaboration with the Rochester Downtown Development Authority’s Lagniappe event, we’ll be offering free coffee, cider, and donuts to all attendees.
Enjoy the opportunity to take a festive photo in a sleigh with a delightful wintry backdrop, provided by Piechnik's Greenhouse and Garden Gate.
Additionally, our gift shop will feature a selection of Leader Dog branded items. Be sure to bring your lawn chair and blankets to secure your spot for the fireworks show!

What is Lagniappe?
Lagniappe, a Creole term meaning “a little something extra,” perfectly describes the Rochester Downtown Development Authority’s (DDA) special touch with the debut of The Big, Bright Light Show, presented by Fox Automotive. On this day, Downtown Rochester comes to life with the official holiday lighting and fireworks spectacular.
