Ways to Give
Your support directly powers our mission and the services we provide to improve the lives of people who are blind or low vision. We rely 100% on donor contributions because we receive no state or federal funding and accept no insurance payments. Your gift today or a planned gift for the future will ensure our clients have access to the skills and tools they need to be independent.
How Your Gift Could Help
Symbolically Sponsor a Puppy
Since we don’t charge our clients anything, your $500 gift to symbolically sponsor a Future Leader Dog will go directly to support the services we provide. Plus, it connects you with a specific puppy in case you can’t become a Leader Dog puppy raiser. Symbolic sponsorship is also a popular way for groups, like your Lions club, school or business to contribute.
Great for Lions recognition!
Giving a symbolic puppy sponsorship as a gift will warm hearts and help shape a client’s future.
Symbolic sponsors receive a 5×7 inch photograph of the puppy, a certificate, a plush puppy and more.
Paws 365 Monthly Giving
When you join Paws 365, you can choose the monthly gift that feels right for you. As soon as you sign up, you become a part of a dedicated community – one that’s committed to empowering people who are blind or have low vision to travel safely with a white cane or a guide dog.
Non-Cash Gifts: Smart Ways to Give
Create a powerful impact on our clients’ lives with non-cash gifts. Whether you’re giving through your IRA, a donor-advised fund (DAF), appreciated stock, or through Thrivent, these tax-wise strategies help you support Leader Dog while potentially maximizing your income tax benefits. Please consult with your tax professional to discuss your specific circumstances and the potential tax implications of any donation.
Honor or Remember What’s Special to You
Make a meaningful tribute to a person, pet, or group with an inscribed brick on our campus plaza. The brick comes in two sizes — regular (3 lines of text) or large (6 lines of text). You’ll receive a keepsake mini brick as a thank you.
Or, make a gift in remembrance or celebration, and we’ll send a personalized card to the honoree or their family to share your thoughtful gesture.
