Meet at the entrance to the The Laundry at 9:00am. We will work the parks of downtown Fenton before breakfast. Then, enjoy good conversation with fellow Puppy Raisers while our puppies practice settling during a meal around other dogs.

Bowling with Special Needs Population

Romeo/Bruce/Washington Parks and Rec in partnership with the Knights of Columbus welcomes people with developmental disabilities to bowl weekly and are allowing us to join them. $5 residents/$7 non-residents. Price includes ball, shoes, 2 slices pizza, pop and up to 3 games. We will be practicing, laying nicely, meet & greets, etc

64th Detroit Autorama - Pinstripers Panel Jam Charity Auction

Join Leader Dog February 26–28, 2016 at America's Greatest Hot Rod Show, the 64th Detroit Autorama! Over 75 Pinstripe and Airbrush Artists from across North America will spend the weekend painting one-of-a-kind pieces of artwork to be auctioned off to benefit Leader Dogs for the Blind. AutoRama is held at Cobo Center. Tickets for Autorama may be purchased at O'Reilly Auto Parts stores or at the door.

Brunch at Wellbridge Romeo

Cost is $6 for residents of Romeo/Bruce/Washington Township and $7 for non-residents. This outing would provide settling practice for our puppies while we eat a delicious lunch and are entertained at the Starbucks inside of Wellbridge of Romeo. Of course, you will also be able to practice polite, controlled meet and greets as well.

$1 Walk the High School Halls Event

This is a community event so the halls will have walkers of all ages and sizes getting winter fit. Costs $1 at the door. We will use this opportunity to practice loose leash walking through crowds. While you should always have a high value management tool on hand, the point of this outing is TRAINING LLW in a controlled crowd.

Pinot's Palette - Project Pet to support Leader Dogs for the Blind

Join Leader Dogs for the Blind and Pinot's Palette of Rochester Hills on Sunday, February 28 from 2–5 p.m. at "Project Pet"! Paint a picture of your furry best friend and support Leader Dog all in one afternoon. Cost for the class is $65, with a portion going to Leader Dog.
